After enjoying a thoroughly impressive debut single-seater campaign in British F4 in 2019, Foster has wasted little time in making another step upwards on the junior motorsport ladder - for the third year in succession.
Claiming six wins, six podiums, eight fastest laps and five pole positions in British F4 in 2019, the Lord Wandsworth College student is hoping to enjoy a similar impact this year having teamed up with Double R Racing once more.
This year’s BRDC British F3 grid is tasked with a jam-packed first month of competition, with eleven races scheduled in August alone. While acknowledging that this year’s progression marks the biggest step of his promising career to date, Foster is buoyed by a productive pre-season testing campaign alongside his Woking-based outfit.
“After a long wait, it feels great that my BRDC British F3 debut is just around the corner. I feel like I’ve gotten to grips with the car and pre-season has been really positive. We know the strength of the grid is a step-up on last year and last year there was very little separating the entire field in British F3 - I’m sure that this year will be no different.”
The season begins with a four-race schedule at Oulton Park with qualifying at 10:40 on Saturday followed by the first race of the weekend at 14:00 and the second at 17:20. The following two races will take place on Sunday at 12:30 and 15:30 respectively.
