Vicki Butler-Henderson
Racing from the age of 12, Vicki’s passion for four wheels is the foundation of her career - she is at her driving happiest when she makes a car dance.
She is a presenter for ‘Fifth Gear Recharged’ (Discovery/Quest) and ITV4’s classic car show, ‘The Car Years’. She also has a You Tube channel, Vicki Butler-Henderson The CAR Girl.
Vicki held the position of presenter of BBC TV’s Top Gear for five years, and has been a Road Tester for Auto Express and What Car? magazines, as well contributing to The Sunday Times and Saturday Telegraph, and many other publications since the age of 17.
Vicki has hosted many global car launches and major events for the best car manufacturers and high-profile non-automotive brands.
Vicki is also an auctioneer for Historics Auctions, hitting the gavel on many classic car sales.
Vicki started racing 100cc karts against the likes of Formula One star David Coulthard and Indycar Champion Dario Franchitti when she was 12, and still races today in whatever she can get her helmet into – from supercars to saloons.
As part of one of the support races for the British Formula One Grand Prix at Silverstone in the early noughties, Vicki became the first woman to win a Maserati race in the history of the marque. She’s also a former racing instructor and has taught hundreds of petrol heads and celebrities the fastest way round a circuit over the years.
She owns a Ducati Monster motorbike on which she is "really fast in a straight line…"
