
Ken Pasternak
For more than twenty-five years Ken has advised organizations using Formula 1 as a model for achieving high performance. He is co-author of “Performance at the Limit, Business Lessons from Formula 1 Motor Racing,” now in its third edition, which inspired BBC World’s eight-part television series, “Formula for Success.”
He has delivered executive development workshops, keynotes, and taught at business schools around the world covering leadership, teamwork, organisational culture, transformation, and cross-cultural communication. His presentations blend compelling F1 stories with practical business insights that leaders can immediately apply within their own organisations.
Ken’s prior experience as a corporate banker with Citibank, institutional development department head at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and advisor to C-Suite leaders underpin his ability to translate excellence on the racing circuit into business wisdom. He helps leadership teams develop the mindset, behaviours and operating disciplines required to perform consistently in environments where speed, execution and adaptability are critical to success.
Ken has also authored three other books including “Managing Your Strengths” and “Exploding Turkeys and Spare Trousers, Adventures in Global Business” for which he was dubbed the ‘Indiana Jones of cultural adventures.’
Ken graduated from Yale University with a degree in Engineering and Applied Science. He is based in Helsinki, Finland.
